This is a new prayer to Mary for Protection during the COVID-19 Pandemic written by Pope Francis:

O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.

We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick.

At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus' pain, with steadfast faith.

You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need.

We are certain that you will provide, so that, 

as you did at Cana at Galilee,

joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial.

Help us, Mother of Divine Love,

to conform ourselves to the Father's will

and to do what Jesus tells us:

He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us,

through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection.  Amen

We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God.

Pope Francis - Prayer for the Ukraine

O God, in this time of violence.  We call on you to draw near.

Draw near to the people of Ukraine.

Draw near to the terrified children.

Draw near to the terrified parents.

Draw near to those who have nowhere to go.

Draw near to the elderly, the infirm,

the disabled, the displaced, the orphans.

Draw near to the caregivers and aid workers

Draw near to the helpers.

Draw near. Draw near, Draw near.

In this time of violence - Draw near.

Jesus taught us that the diabolical evil of violence 

is answered with the weapons of God, with prayer and fasting.

May the Queen of Peace preserve the world from madness of war.
