Please ensure that children are on time for school.
The school doors open at 8.45am and all children are expected to be in class for the start of lessons.
Class 1 - 8.45am - Entrance Main Gate
Class 2 - 8.45am - Entrance Main Gate
Class 3 - 8.45am - Entrance Main Gate
Latecomers cause disruption for pupils and teachers and learning time is lost.
If a child is absent parents must contact the school before 9.30am on the first day of absence. On returning to school all absences must be explained in writing either by signed letter or completing a copy of the School Absence Form, available to download from the school website. Failure to do so will result in absences being unauthorised and will be referred to the Attendance & Inclusion Officer.
Parents must apply in advance in writing for exceptional absences to be considered for authorisation by the Headteacher. All such absences will be discussed with the Attendance & Inclusion Officer. It is never possible to authorise holidays in term time based on cost/savings made.
If attendance is very poor without genuine medical reasons or if parents take children on holiday during term time and/or deliberately give misleading information, parents may be issued with Fixed Penalty Notices (Fines).
This school has high expectations of school attendance.
It is always important that parents inform school of any infectious illnesses. Please inform school of any cases of chicken pox, measles or shingles (children or immediate contacts) at the earliest opportunity.
